Hi, I'm Vipech

I am a MFA Design & Technology graduate from the Parsons School of Design. My interest in design stems from my interdisciplinary background in business, data, and disability studies. Through previous academic and professional experiences, I witnessed first-hand how participation in the creation of tools that get used by millions means being able to help increase the inclusion of users dealing with the intersectionality of disability, race, gender, and socioeconomic backgrounds. As a designer, being able to use my skills to advocate and prioritize those who otherwise might not have a voice in the process of creating major technology is just one of the many ways where I can make a difference in both the future of the product and the inclusion of differently-abled individuals.

When I'm not designing...

Cafe Hopping

I love a good cup of coffee, welcoming interior design, and interesting architecture. You will most likely find me at my local coffee shop with my sketch book and watercolor set.

Travel

Growing up in Kampong Cham, Cambodia, seeing the world through an international lens was not something I had imagined for myself. I hope to continue to learn and appreciate the rich histories other countries have to offer.
